Event Date: July 18, 2026
Sasquatch Provincial Park Camping Weekend
If you are looking for a relaxing weekend surrounded by nature, beautiful lakes, and great company, this trip is for you. This time, we’re heading to Sasquatch Provincial Park, located approximately two hours east of Vancouver near Harrison Hot Springs. Surrounded by lush forests, scenic lakes, and stunning mountain views, the park offers the perfect setting for camping, swimming, paddleboarding, outdoor activities, and spending quality time with friends in nature.
Interestingly, the park is named after the legendary Sasquatch, a mysterious human-like creature that has been part of Indigenous traditions and local folklore throughout the Pacific Northwest for generations. While its existence has never been scientifically proven, stories and sightings of Sasquatch remain an important part of the region’s cultural heritage.
During this trip, we’ll spend one night camping together, enjoying the outdoors, swimming, paddleboarding, group activities, short nature walks, and a memorable evening with friends.
There is no need to bring your own tent for this program—Mungeh will provide tents for all participants. However, if you prefer to use your personal tent, please coordinate with the trip leader in advance.
We will also try to organize transportation through carpooling. If you have available seats in your vehicle or need a ride, please let the trip leader know so we can coordinate accordingly.
