One Day Hiking Tour

Program Description:
This time, we will hike to Grouse Mountain via the beautiful Larsen Trail, a scenic and less crowded route that passes through lush forests, towering trees, natural trails, exposed roots, and sections of the famous Baden Powell Trail. It offers a completely different experience from the well-known Grouse Grind.
As we make our way up the mountain, we will gradually gain elevation while enjoying the cool forest air and the peaceful surroundings of Vancouver’s North Shore wilderness.
After reaching the summit, taking a break, and enjoying the spectacular views of Vancouver and the surrounding mountains, we will return to the base by gondola.

We will meet at the designated meeting location in the morning. After a short introduction and group briefing, we will begin our hike.
Most of the route passes through beautiful forested terrain along Vancouver’s North Shore. The trail includes natural forest paths, dirt sections, rocky terrain, and a steady climb, making it suitable for participants with a moderate level of fitness.
During the hike, we will stop at a suitable location to enjoy breakfast together and take a short break.
Once we reach the summit, there will be time to enjoy the breathtaking views of Vancouver, visit the resident grizzly bears, and explore other attractions at the top of Grouse Mountain.
At the end of the program, we will return to the base by gondola.
Required Equipment:
• Hiking shoes or boots
• Daypack
• Minimum 1.5 litres of water
• Breakfast
• Fruit and snacks
• Sunscreen
• Sun hat
• Sunglasses
• Weather-appropriate clothing
Transportation:
We encourage participants to arrange carpooling whenever possible to reduce the number of vehicles and make the trip more environmentally friendly and enjoyable.
