Friends of Mungeh, are you ready for a spooky and unforgettable night?
This year we’re celebrating Halloween together – with thrilling music, full-on Halloween décor, and lots of fun!
🕯 A bit of history:
Halloween goes back over 2,000 years to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain in Ireland and Scotland. People believed that on October 31, the boundary between the living and the spirits became thinner. To keep spirits away, they lit bonfires and wore costumes.
Over time, these traditions spread through Europe and later came to North America. In the 19th century, Irish and Scottish immigrants brought Halloween to Canada, where it gradually turned into a joyful community celebration.
👻 Today in Canada, Halloween is a family and social event: kids wear creative costumes and go trick-or-treating, while adults enjoy spooky decorations, costume parties, music, and fun. From a ritual meant to scare off spirits, Halloween has become one of the most playful and creative celebrations of the year.
🍴 Food & Drinks:
Delicious cocktails, snack platters, and all kinds of treats will be ready – plus a tasty dinner served for everyone.
(Remember: bringing your own alcohol is not allowed – all cocktails and drinks will be served by Mungeh 😉)
🎶 And here’s the highlight: we’ve got a professional DJ spinning live, turning up the energy and keeping the dance floor alive all night long!
👗 Costumes:
Wearing a Halloween costume isn’t mandatory, but we warmly encourage everyone to join the theme. At the end of the night we’ll vote for the best costumes:
