On Saturday morning (July 5), we gather at the meeting point at 10:00 AM and head toward Golden Ears Park. After setting up our tents, we’ll explore the campground and enjoy swimming or relaxing by the lake.
Around noon, we’ll prepare and enjoy a delicious Persian-style lunch: juicy koobideh kebabs grilled over charcoal, served with saffron rice and roasted tomatoes 😋. After lunch, there will be time to relax and play group games.
In the evening, if no fire ban is in place, we’ll gather around the campfire, share stories, and enjoy a cozy night under the stars ✨.
On Sunday (July 6), after breakfast and packing up, we’ll take an optional light hike to the scenic Gold Creek Lower Falls (about 1 hour). Those who wish to return to Vancouver earlier can skip the hike. After the falls, we head back to the city—and as is tradition with Mungeh, we’ll vote on an Iranian restaurant for lunch together before ending the trip.
